It’s Australia Day!
Pickleberrypop is proud to be Australian-owned and operated, we have an amazing bunch of talented Aussie designers and Creative Team members too, and we consider our International Designers and CT members as adopted Aussies! They do a great job of pretending they understand our Aussie slang anyway! So we can’t let Australia Day pass by without celebrating!

Our wide, brown land is vast, and much of the farming land you see in Australia is spotted with cows. Shhhhhhhhh! What’s that noise? Those cheeky PickleMoo’s have broken out of the paddock again, and are running amock! One of them has just laid a fresh cow pat – DON’T step in it, whatever you do!

January 26 is AUSTRALIA DAY! Pickleberrypop is an Australian-owned and operated site, and so we are going to CELEBRATE! In a few days we will send out a special bulletin informing you of all the fun/crazy stuff we will have going on. The festivities will begin on the 26th Australian time, but keep an eye out for the newsletter and you won’t need to worry about time zones, we will let you know!

Since the introduction of our monthly desktop wallpaper freebie, something has always bothered me… the fact that our wallpapers won’t suit everyone’s screens. So I came up with the idea of offering universal desktop wallpapers, starting this month!
In our desktop wallpaper download, we will provide you with:
- one 72dpi background paper, large enough to fit a really big monitor! This paper can be resized to suit YOUR screen size, you can even use it to create an iPhone wallpaper (320×480pixels)!
- one photo cluster, large enough to be used on the background paper as-is, but can also be resized to suit YOUR screen size
- this month, we are also providing you a free piece of ‘February’ wordart!
Not only can you resize to suit your screen size, but you can place the photo cluster wherever you like, so as not to interfere with important items on your desktop! Simply resize the background paper and photo cluster to suit (instructions and tips can be downloaded HERE), and slot your photo/s in between these two layers, save as a JPG, and display!
