Bliggity Bloggity Boo! Round #2 – Blogs that inspire you!

Time for another Bliggity Bloggity Boo! This time we are blogging about blogs that inspire us! Hmmmm… blogs that inspire me….

A new(ish) blog on the block that is inspiring me to try to take better fairy photos is Pink Ink Studios. Andie Smith, Holly McCaig and Kristy Ann have started a new site selling ‘design resources for photographers by photographers’ Their shop has a lot of photo goodies but their blog is chock a block with tips and tricks and gorgeous photos! They even have a flickr group that you can join and maybe have your photo showcased on their blog. If nothing else it is a great blog to just browse through getting ideas for photos you’d like to try so go have a look see!

So now it is your turn… blog about the blogs that inspire you right now then go post in this thread here when you are done! Don’t forget to comment on the blog of the person who posted before you!

Bliggity Bloggity Boo! – What’s your fairy name?

Round #1 of Bliggity Bloggity Boo!

I hope you will all play along with me!!

Now of course being the pickleberry blog fairy I already have a fairy name… but a girl can never have too many fairy names now can she? So here is my ‘other’ fairy name…

“Your fairy is called Fidget Icefilter

She is a bone chilling bringer of justice for the vulnerable.

She lives in rotting woodlands near poisonous toadstools.

She is only seen on midsummer’s eve.

She wears red with white spots, like the toadstools. She has icy blue butterfly wings.”

Get your free fairy name here!

Oh I sound just a tad scary don’t I??? I can assure you I am not scary.. not at all… well ok maybe  a little!

Now it’s your turn… follow the link above to get your fairy name, blog about it, post it in the thread HERE at pbp and then comment on the blog of the poster above you!

Have fun!

Sprinkling some more fairy dust!

My little fairy wings are flapping with excitement because this week I am choosing not one, but two blogs to sprinkle!    The first is one of our lovely PBP member blogs, and the other is a scrapping blog that I thought had some really useful stuff and was worth sharing with you.

This week’s pickle blog, Mela, was chosen not only because Mel has some gorgeous layouts in our gallery, but also because I saw some amazing photos on her blog this month, which I just have to show you!  And we all know how photography plays a HUGE part in this craft that we love.  Here is one of the amazing photos I found – wow!

The other blog is jam-packed full of resources and advice for the digi-scrapper, both beginner and experienced – it really is a must to check out if you haven’t done so already.  It is Digi Scrappin with Jen, and Jen is such a lovely person too!  She even has a very comprehensive list of digi-designers, and you’ll find most of the pickleheads there too!

I hope you enjoy these blogs as much as I do finding them, so be sure to check them out and leave a comment to let them know you visited.  And our featured bloggers this week can nab this special blinkie if they like, to let everyone know they have been visited by the Pickleberry Blog Fairy!

Oh, and Part One of the Brand New Day multi pickle pack by Annette Farrelly is now in the Pop Shop, and going cheap!

My very first blog dust sprinkling!

Oh I am so very excited! I have been looking through the list of people who have joined my blog ring and been having a lovely time reading great blogs. It’s so much fun finding out about the everyday lives and thoughts of fellow pickle lovers…not to mention seeing some wonderful LOs as well.

This weeks pickle blog was chosen for a number of reasons, but what you mostly notice about this blog is the amazing LOs. This lady has amazing talent and it just shines through in every LO she does. Add to that a great sprinkling of real life for an Aussie mother of two and Organised Chaos Jody Davidson’s blog is just a delight to read!

Here is one of Jodie’s amazing LO’s from the PBP gallery… just a small taste of what you will find on her blog! It’s called ‘colour our world’ and is created using ‘Just more papers and Fun frames 2′ by the talented Tracy Ann Robinson. Font is Pea Kim

So stop by Jodie’s blog and drool over her wonderful creativity and smile as you read about her gorgeous family and don’t forget to leave a comment and sprinkle a little of your own blog dust around.

Oh and Jodie… if you feel so inclined please feel free to nab this special blinkie to let everyone know you have been visited by the Pickleberry Blog Fairy!

No scrapping but a whole lot of fun!

I heard a lot of laughing coming from the chat room tonight so fluttered past for a bit of a look….

I discovered a wild group of Aussie scrappers having loads of fun playing silly games! Go check out the fourm post here to read some of the crazy poems that everyone wrote about themselves. And if you see some odd photos in the gallery don’t be alarmed, they are just the crazy scrapper’s messy works spaces (and one or two very neat ones!) and their smelly feet!

From the sounds of it lots of fun was had by all, so if you didn’t make it to the chat tonight you can still join in the fun tomorrow.. Wednesday midday EST for Aussies and Tuesday evening 9pm central time for those in the US! Stop by and say hello!

My First Day on the Job!

Oh yay! It is my first official day on the job and I am already busily out there hunting out special blogs to highlight! So make sure you have added your blog link to this post in the forums or better yet, join our web ring to make sure I flutter past your blog very soon. Who knows you could be the very first blog to be visited by me, the pickleberry blog fairy!

Wow! Apart from reading blogs my other favorite past time is checking out all the amazing LOs in the gallery at PBP! It’s only our first day and already the gallery is bursting with amazing creativity! It is so great to see such a variety of scrappers and styles. Here are just a few that caught my eye today!

This amazing LO is by Lee. Although Lee thinks it is ‘incredibly plain’ it caught my eye when I was fluttering past for the amazing photos and wonderful journaling

This LO is by one of our very talented CT member JustDee using some of the gorgeous Brand New Day Multi Pickle Pack – part one available for download now! I love the colours in this, so bright and fun and full of life!

Well that is all from me for today… but keep your eye on my blog because in the next day or two we will highlight our first blog. Are you going to be the first one to be visited by the pickleberry blog fairy???

The Pickleberry Blog Fairy Lives Here!

Welcome to my home!

I’m the Pickleberry Blog Fairy and this is my blog!

This is going to be a very busy blog in the coming weeks!

Not only will I keep you updated on everything that is happening at PBP – new items in the Pop shop, challenges, projects, sales, cool forum posts etc, etc. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the gallery and posting inspiring layouts too!

But the thing I love to do best is spread some blog dust around the place!

There are so many great blogs out there and the ones I like best are the ones who mix a little bit of scrapping (digi, traditional or a mixture of both – I love it all!) with a whole lot of real life! Don’t we all love to look at inspiring layouts and designs? And I am sure we all enjoy reading about the everyday things that make us laugh or even cry.

If you blog there is something else I am sure you will love… and that is comments! Just knowing that people out there are reading, agreeing, disagreeing, being inspired or informed is a great feeling!  It’s my job, as the Pickleberry Blog Fairy, to share the love. To sprinkle blog dust around a few blogs each week to let the authors know we are there, that we are reading and enjoying and to let everyone else know that there is a great new blog to check out!

Each week I will sprinkle blog dust at two blogs.

One will be a PBP member blog and the other a random blog that is informative, inspirational or just plain fun!

When I vist your blog I will leave a comment to let you know you have been highlighted and then I’ll post a link and a bit about the selected blog here so we can all share!
If you are a PBP member and would like your blog to be on my visiting list, please join our webring HERE.

Make sure to check back often to find out all the news, and make sure to keep an eye out for the Pickleberry Blog Fairy at your blog…  you never know when I might drop by!
