Journaling reads: Susan Elaine. I hated my name growing up. There was always another Susan in every class. The Year I was born every 3rd girl in the US was named Susan or some variant of it in honor of Susan Hayward. Four of us in my family in two years - Linda Sue, Deborah Sue, Judith Suzanne - and I got it. But I never answered to my middle name, so Susan it was. Really my name has lovely meanings. Susan means intelligent, lily, lily of the valley, Rose of Sharon, and light. Elaine also means lily and light. So Intelligent Lily, Lily of Light, Lily Lily, Rose of Light, Rose Lily. I love my name!
