I have to admit that I was a bit of a skeptic when it came to the famous Mona Lisa. Surely, it was a beautiful painting but was it really worth all the hype it has received over the years? Standing in front of the original, in the Louvre in Paris, I was convinced. The painting truly is amazing. There is something compelling about Mona Lisas smile. I could have stood and looked at it for hours.
