The Journaling says...Just last week as the sun was setting a storm as big as Australia hit Auckland, New Zealand. The winds were strong and wild, the rain heavy and plentiful and the lightning very close by. Then with one mighty effort and a huge bolt of lightning the electricity went out and I was left in darkness. Quickly I located our wind up torch, the emergency supply of candels and turned the barbeque on so dinner could be had. Of course there was nothing left to do in the evening so I used the last of the hot water and went to bed at 8pm. Believe it or not I slept.
