GDSO Week 3 Signature Challenge
Carol, thank you so much for supplying us with such a beautiful template for this week's Signature Challenge. It is a great template to work with and, for the most part, I have not made any changes. I did make my photos larger and framed them using an Adobe legacy style. I did not use the word labels. I have used a kit, Magic Garden, from Lara's Digital World for the papers and most of the elements. The deep violet flowers and the columbine are from a kit by Indigo Designs by Anna called Remember Me which really goes quite well with the Magic Garden kit. The fonts used are Sherika and Beloved Sister Sans, treated with another legacy style from Adobe.
The 'flowers' in the photos are actually blown glass sculptures made by Dale Chihuly. This exhibit was at the Dallas Arboretum in 2012 which I visited several time. finding something new and remarkable each time. Although it looks very fragile, the glass is actually quite strong, surviving a Texas tornado without too much damage although the exhibition was delayed a few days while repairs were being made. Chihuly has done these installations, each one different from the last, all over the globe. If there is ever one in your corner of the world, be sure to take it in. It is like a trip through a magical garden.
