The silence of the Flight 93 Memorial Site is now broken by the musical chimes of the Tower of Voices. The tower stands 93 feet tall and holds 40 individual chimes, each representing one of the passengers and crew of Flight 93. The Tower of Tears stands starkly gray but stunning in its simplicity and its grandeur. And no matter how often I visit, I am drawn to it. Each time I see it differently- in the snow, amidst the wildflowers, in the spring, on gray and windy days, and in the bright blue of the fall skies. It's voice changes with the weather.
