Eugie was Ola's niece and Bill's elder first cousin. We believe this picture was made on her wedding day in 1914. The chair and background appear in other family photos during this time for which we have firm dates so that makes it easier to date the picture. Eugie was 1/4 Choctaw and there is an amazing record in the files of the Dawes Commission about her land claims in the Indian Territory, now Oklahoma.
