Almost every culture on the face of the Earth celebrates some form of this ancient festival Lugnasadh. Christianized, it became Lammas and much easier to pronounce. It is, like the American holiday Thanksgiving, a celebration of of gratefulness but for the first fruits, not the last harvest. Those festival center around food and drink. Yum!
