Its not that I dont like cooking - I IT! .I just hate the decision.
What's for dinner, Mum?.How many times have I heard this? Lets
see; 1 kid x 5 times a week (at least) x 52 weeks in the year. 260 x
talking age 2 - 18 (16 yrs). 4,160 x 4 kids - 16,640. And that's
conservative because some of them stayed much later than 18.
Washing the car. I
actually dont mind
- its the whinging
from DH that I cant
tolerate. Apparently
no one can wash a
car as well as he.
Last time, he
criticised that much
that I decided its
now
HIS job.
Problem
solvered!
Making beds
Never done it except for sheet washing
day or when guest are coming. Well,
I have done it for short bursts of time
- a month here , a week there. It just
seems a pointless waste of time.
Although I love the look of
a well made bed.
Shaving legs
Thank goodness for winter (not only
because of the rain)! I can wear jeans trackies
and leggings every day and I am almost
ashamed to admit that I will go for longer than
a week. I would use a hair removal cream, but
the smell of it really scares me. I waxed once
but the pain to convenience ratio was badly skewed
on the side of PAIN!!!!!
Shopping
I dont know when I
stopped loving it.
When I was younger
the kids & me loved
it like an outing. My
trick for hassle free
shopping with kids?
They always got their
treat BEFORE. That
way anticipation
never ruined their
behaviour and they
were helpful instead
of hateful!
