We can check this one off of our bucket list! You have to get tickets to climb up to the crown of the Statue of Liberty months in advance, so I was really looking forward to it. While we can say we did it, it was rather underwhelming! We were in a long line of people as we climbed the stairs through the skeleton of the statue. The windows at the top are suprisingly small. I quickly snapped a few pictures. It was cool to get a closeup of her tablet. The climb to the torch has been closed since 1916. I’m glad, because I don’t think I would have had the courage to do that!
