Journal reads:
Our lives are incredibly hectic and our kids keep us busy beyond what I am sure is normal. Everyday we need to remind ourselves to live with much patience and with the inevitability that things will not always go as planned. Our kids are growing and maturing, they are finding their way...this will come with many bumps along the way too. It's hard sometimes not to lose our cool and think that they shouldn't make silly mistakes since they're so bright...but they will never learn their lesson without some bad decisions. Let's just hope that we've done a good enough job that the wrong decisions won't come with harmful consequences and that we taught them well enough to avoid learning the hard way.
