This page is part of an album I am doing about the memorial for my husband’s sister. Ed took her loss very hard. He is the eldest of 6 siblings, and they buried both of his sisters this year.
This sister actually died at the beginning of the pandemic and couldn’t be buried with her daughter as planned because the Army fort where the cemetery was had been locked down. Now, after almost three years, it is open again. It was a good day when we finally were able to lay Chickie to rest with her beloved daughter, Tammy. For the first time in decades the entirety of her remainingsiblings were able to gather together. (Their only other sister died before the service could be held.) I am so happy to have these photos of her brothers, husband and sons - the men who loved her.
I used the provided template, moved a lot of things around, removed a few items, then added a second photo and frame on top of the mask. I used various parts of “Anytime” by Simplette and “Wabi Sabi” by Heartstrings Scrap Art to complete the page. The title fonts are “Academy Engraved” (also used on the word strips) and “Ancient.” The journaling font is “dearJoe4.”
