How do you take your coffee? Do you even drink it?

I have a pot (or two!!) of black coffee almost daily at home. On days like today, when I had to drive into the office for work (a rare occurrence for me!), I don't get to have my full 2 pots (omg, I'm ridiculous!). So I made a coffee date with a Co worker (my previous boss!), and we walked to the Starbucks on the corner (who doesn't have a Starbucks on a nearby corner these days?!)... today's drink: Salted Caramel Mocha. I splurge when I come in to the office because it's like a payment for having to get out of the house. My office is 35 miles away from my home (one way- which is why I love working from home!).

So what about you?!

Lol, that's a lot of coffee! I'm not a coffee drinker. I'm boring...I stick to water :) I don't drink soda, but do drink some milk once in a while...new favorite is vanilla almond milk. When we were in Holland with my in-laws, they had coffee or tea times about four times a day, and they just couldn't get used to me not needing/wanting anything but water. Lol, so to make them feel better, once a day, I drank fruit juice. I hated making them feel uncomfortable. They knew I don't drink coffee or tea, and Kees and I have been married for almost 17 years, but I'm still a bit of an odd ball in that way to them *grin*

I get up in the morning, head out for a four mile walk - that's what wakes me up. I love walking and watching the sun rise over our mountains. Then, I get some breakfast, get cleaned up and go to work in my office (in my home). Lol, short commute, huh? :) I have worked from home for 27 years, and don't think I'd like having to adjust to a job any other way. Yup, I'm spoiled *grin*

Oh, I also drink soda. I try to limit to one a day, but my "one a day" is a large cup... (44oz) hahaha. I also refill that same 44oz cup with water three or four times a day... but i just love the flavor of coffee. And some of it is the caffeine, too, but I could have decaf and be fine. :)

I don't drink coffee....I makes me sick.....love the smell but don't like the taste. Although I will have a rare cappuccino when I go out with my girlfriend and feel sick after drinking it.
I don't drink soda either and like Faye my drink of choice is water, water and water.....I do drink tea....3 cups a day.... through the cooler months.
I also find walking at 5 am every morning is all the wake up/kick start I need to get me through the day. I work a split shift...2.5 hours morning and afternoon....driving a bus taking special needs children to and from school.

I don't drink coffee either .. I used to drink a ton of soda.. then I moved to energy drinks.. way way too many of those.. my brother and his wife started our family into a fitness program and we started going to the gym for about 2 hours every evening and mostly do weight lifting and cardio (that slows down during football season because of the kids schedules and my sister in laws body building training) now all it is for me is water water water.. tons of water! I tried to drink a coke at the movie the other night and ick.. couldn't do it.. funny from the way that I used to drink a 6 pack of coke a day.

I really should be on more of a fitness program. All I do is run, about 3 times/week. Haha.

I love coffee!! and tea I drink 2 cups of each a day and drink 2 litres of water. Not a big fan of soda, more likely to have a juice or cordial than soda but hardly ever. Miss Jessica doesnt like soda either, never tasted it until she started school, had a couple of sips and gave it away. She either drinks water or milk. Doesnt like lollies either, has only ever eaten one when she was 4 because a friend gave it to her.....now chocolate is a different matter altogether....

I love coffee. My user name says it all - susielatte. Yes latte is my favourite! Don't mind a cup of green tea either. Soda doesn't interest me one little bit.

Oh I am a heavy coffee drinker. I should not drink as much but I do go through about 8 k-cups a day sometimes more. I do water also but rarely a soda. So I guess I could do better or even worse.

I never drink coffee though I do like a Starbucks mocha frap but decaf only. Caffeine doesn't work well for me - I am a water drinker first and foremost or peppermint tea.

Yes please. We make a pot every morning. We order fresh roasted beans from Peet's that gets automatically delivered every 3 weeks. We grind our beans fresh every morning. We use a cone coffeepot into a carafe. We're pretty big into it. I take mine with half & half or coffeemate and a packet of Truvia.

I've been curious about the difference between grinding our own beans vs convenience of buying it already done. And, I drink so much of it, I have a feeling I'd have to cut back if I wanted it "Fancy" like that. Lol. But i bet it's delicious!

I just have a coffee maker for guests in the house. My husband and I are milk drinkers or cocoa. Rare tea. We do not like coffee.

It's a huge difference. You have to have a burr grinder, though, not one of those blade grinders. Here's the thing. It takes me about 1 minute 10 seconds to make coffee in the morning. I take a half cup scoop of coffeebeans from our Peets coffee bean holder. I put it in the grinder. While it grinds I remove yesterdays filter/grounds, dump out any dregs and rinse the carafe. Then I grab the pitcher we use to fill the pot and put in under the faucet. I grab a new filter and put it in the cone. By this time beans are ground and the pitcher is full. I grab the water pitcher (it's quicker and easier than using the coffee pot imo), fill up the water, dump the now ground coffee into the filter and switch it on. I've timed it :).

Lol! I will time how long it takes me, but I prepare it each night (timer!!!) for the next morning.
