RQOTD: Anyone just realized it is Christmas?

Is it only me or has anyone else just realized that it is Christmas? Well, I knew it was Christmas, but I just now figured out that I have to deal with it. Guess I'll get the tree up today! Anyone else into late decorating?

I only have a very simple Christmas Tree that looks funny because I let our 3 year old twin grand daughters play with it. They hang the balls and get it out again. The next day, they will hang some balls again. We have 4 Christmas lights that are not working. So lazy to decorate because I will be the only one to remove and store them again.

Yes! It seems weird that it is one week away. I had hoped to get much more done than I have, but I have my annual sinus infection, so it makes wanting to do extra things challenging. Hopefully I will have some extra time and energy this weekend to get some stuff done!

Yes...Christmas is almost here. I am mostly looking forward to it because my husband took days off from work so we have a whole week together Can't wait !! Other than that Christmas will be relaxed. I dont have to do any cooking (YAY) and we dont do presents (we do that with Sinterklaas) so it is going to be nice & quiet.

YES! I'm ready and I can't wait. Not that we're doing anything special, I'm just ready for the b.r.e.a.k. The kids have a half day tomorrow and then they're off for two weeks. The tree is already decorated, the stockings are up, the gifts already wrapped, most of the groceries have already been bought for the week............... it'll just be nice to not DO anything next week! Usually I just wing it - which results in last minute shopping and wrapping everything Christmas Eve & listening to Nick moan & complain about how I should've done it all sooner (LOL), but this year I planned every.thing. so I could take the week "off" and just enjoy it!
