I made this cute bag on the weekend and am pretty happy how it turned out...

Do any of you sew?

But now I have to decide.. scrapping or sewing this evening??? :boohoo:ROFL

That's waaaaaay cute, Caroline! I love to sew, although I don't do much of it anymore. I used to sew the cutest dresses for my girls when they were little. I even made matching swimsuits for them and their cousins one year. Before I started designing, I used to sew for weddings. Lol, now that was stressful! You know how picky brides can be! I keep telling my hubby that I'm in the mood to use up some of my fabrics that I collected and piece a new quit top in my spare time *grin*

I'm glad you found a new hobby that you love....lol, I hope you can find a balance between sewing and scrapping, coz I love seeing your layouts :)

Caroline, your bag is super cute, I really love it! You must show is how the skirt turns out.

Unfortunately, I don't sew, but that's one of the few things I'd like to do if I had more time.
I have actually planned it all out, how to bring sewing to my life - my daughter is six, and she is a very crafty person, so I think that in two or three years, I'm going to buy her a sewing machine, and start learning sewing with him. I'm fantasizing about it a lot, does is sound very crazy? Like those fathers who buy their son electric train sets, and then end up playing with it themselves? LOL

Oooh thanks, Sarah!
My grandmother tought me the basics some years ago .- like sewing a straigt line *lol*
But all other things are mostly try and error style :) I just see something in the internet I like and I try to make it myself. If it looks ugly.. well... then I just don't show you :D :D :D

Wow - you could start a shop on Etsy - your things are awesome! Sewing is not my strong spot - I had to make a shirt for school years ago - the sleeves were both different lengths and the hem was very uneven. I think I scored a D+ on the project! Thank goodness for digital scrapping! LOL!

Wow super cute sewing things.
I am in total awe.

I have a wonderful sewing machine and it has only ever sewn paper. I sew on most of my paper pages.
