Welcome to PBP and to the wonderful world of digital scrapbooking!

Here is a post from the PBP Blog that outlines many of the different software programs used to scrap digitally. I think this will really help you decide what program will work best for you as you begin this journey.

Personally, I started with Photoshop Elements 14 years ago, and after 5 years or so, I started using Photoshop CC which I love.

Hope this info is helpful!!

I think Photoshop Element is the best one to start with. Photoshop gives you the most flexibility if you are happy to spend a little more.

I also use Photoshop Elements. It's what I started out on and am still using.

It depends on your budget and what you're willing to invest in learning a program. Photoshop Creative Cloud (PSCC) is considered the gold standard. Of course, it has the highest learning curve and is also the most expensive (subscription service - typically you get a bundle of products). Photoshop Elements (PSE) is a great option for most scrappers (cheaper and not as complex). There are some limitations, but generally it works for most. I stared with Paintshop Pro back in the 2005? and switched to Photoshop shortly thereafter and never looked back. For context, it took me about a week to feel comfortable with Photoshop. Good luck with your decision!

Yes PSCC is the best. I too started in PSP9 and it took a bit to get used to PS back in the day. But totally worth the switch, and the subscription option isn't bad especially when you get the upgrades every year!
