Weekend???

Anyone done anything fun this weekend?

We are strong into football season with our son now and so football is life.. my son is from Western Samoa, we adopted him when he was 1 and when I was getting onto the plane to come home his birth mom said to me.. please have him play football... I said I will let him if he wants too.. WELL he does and he loves it and he is dang good at it.

Our weekend was a birthday party, and today was a cleaning day. Boooorrrriiiiinnnnggggg. Tomorrow back to work and going for a run, to run off all the cake cones I ate. Lol

I get to go watch my oldest grandson run his very first mile. He is in kindergarten and they did a fundraiser for the school and this is the "BIG" event.. He is so excited. Going to be exciting and some fun pictures!! that sounds better than your cleaning day Kristina hahhaa but you can come and clean my house.. do the laundry why your here.. it is backing up !

My weekend was spent doing lots of yard work and some designing! I guess my fun was grocery shopping LOL

I was able to have a few days off with my hubby this weekend, it's so rare lately! We spent it out of the house riding the motorcycle. I didn't get any fall color photos yet, but a few fun stories!

This weekend coming, we are taking it easy because next weekend is our Thanksgiving and then starting Oct 17 for us, we have something going every weekend until Dec 6th. It's going to be crazy and the time will fly by and then it will be almost Christmas!!

This weekend is going to be busy again. We have a park play date/pot luck thing. This park also has a splash pad. I'm debating if I'm going to let the kids play in it or not... Not that they wouldn't love it, but I'll be by myself, as DH has other plans. It's kind of hard to manage two toddlers in a water park by yourself! lol.
Then Sunday will be a relax day. DH will be helping my sister move, while kids and I stay home. I foresee "Big Hero 6", "Frozen", and "Princess and the Frog" being on our TV. LOL

Last weekend, we were on a river cruise in Holland celebrating my in-laws' 50th Anniversary. AWESOME experience. This weekend, we're home, getting caught up from all of the stuff that we missed while we were gone, although I still haven't gotten to the weeds that overtook my garden *sigh*. I found it more enjoyable to actually DESIGN for a change.

This afternoon, we have a party for our youngest granddaughter that just turned 1. Fun day!

oh that sounds delightful Faye.. you were missed here while you were gone but so exciting to be able to go to Holland.. you will have to share with all of us your exciting trip!!
