Ana an absolutely delightful page and a very interesting recipe. Half a kilo of sugar and 18 egg yolks...wow! It is definitely a cake for special occasions and I cannot promise I would make it However although we do not have chickens ourselves our neighbours do and if we get a lot of eggs from both neighbours at once, which we sometimes do, I will make it and invite the family around so I am not tempted to have more than a small piece. I do have a sweet tooth for tasty cakes and chocolates too.
