The Old Court is a complex of buildings that served as the home of the bishop beginning in 1007. The current building was constructed in 1576. The “Beautiful Gateway” was crafted by scultor Pankras Wagner and contains sculptures of Saints Peter, George, and Heinrich. Beyond this gateway is the romantic inner courtyard lined with half-timbered building.s.
