Our beloved 14 year old, Pixie, loves “nesting.” She will dig at and move her blankets (or ours!) until they make a kind of rounded nest for her to lay in. We can wash and place them in what we think looks like a nice little nest for her, but that never satisfies her need to do it to her standards. last Saturday I was pulling the sheets off to take them to do laundry and when I stepped away for a moment I heard the patter of running feet and a leap up onto the bed. When I turned and looked back this is what I saw… evidently I had made the perfect nest and without further arranging she plopped down on the pile of sheets and refused to look at me. She seemed to be saying that the sheets needed to stay right where they were. I used ChatGPT for the Title/Caption per the challenge. I used Aziko’s Under The Trees and Fayette’s Coral Kiss with recoloring for the layout.
