Inner Peace
To create this layout, I started with the journaling: "Be so rooted in my being that nobody's absence or presence can disturb my inner peace." This journaling led my photograph and kit choices.

Next, I selected a photo of a tree that had a lot of exposed roots and I extracted it. After that, I selected a photo of a marmot peeking out of a hole in thick grass, with some of the grass roots showing, and extracted that. I played with the positioning of the two on my layout until I liked the arrangement. The marmot's hole represents my fantasy cave of inner peace, that also has entrances under the tree roots in the dark areas.

I selected et designs' Wild Soul Bundle to go with my layout. I liked the soft blue watercolor background paper and I used one of the brushes to add the watercolor pine trees behind my tree with roots. I like how the softness of the watercolor trees pushes them into the background when compared to the detail of the tree I extracted, which adds depth.

Then, I added multiple flowers in a similar shade of blue around the marmot's hole, to draw attention to the marmot. I added my journaling quote, and I finished with a ribbon in an accent color around the extracted tree.
